Please avoid including detailed personal, medical or highly sensitive information in your initial enquiry. There will be an opportunity to discuss your circumstances during an initial consultation.

Where special category information (including health information) is processed, this is done only where permitted under UK data protection law and where necessary for the provision of counselling services.
How your information is stored
Information submitted through the contact form is transmitted securely and delivered to our business email account. The contact form is configured to send enquiries by email rather than intentionally retaining enquiry messages in the website database.
Email delivery logging on the website is disabled so that the content of enquiry emails is not routinely stored in website mail logs.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including:
- Secure website encryption (HTTPS)
- Password-protected devices
- Multi-factor authentication on email accounts
- Restricted access to personal information

Initial enquiries
If you contact us but do not become a client, your enquiry email will normally be retained in the business email account for up to six months, after which it will be securely deleted unless there is a legitimate legal or business reason to retain it for longer.
Clients
If you become a client, your records will be retained in accordance with our professional, legal and insurance obligations. Details of these retention periods are provided within the Client Privacy Notice and Counselling Agreement.
Sharing your information
Your personal information will be treated confidentially.
We will not share your information with third parties unless:
- you have given your consent;
- we are legally required to do so;
- there is a serious concern regarding your safety or the safety of another person;
